Critical Math Intervention

CMI Program

Critical Math Intervention is designed to provide essential experiences for children ages 5-10, fostering the development of strong foundational skills and facilitating mathematical connections. We recognize the significance of building a concrete understanding before delving into abstract problem-solving and higher-level thinking. all begins with an idea.

Key Components:

Concrete Learning Experiences

We focus on hands-on learning, using real-world examples to help children understand math concepts. This approach helps them build a deeper understanding of more abstract ideas later on.

Individualized Support

Each child learns at their own pace. Our program offers personalized support to meet each student’s unique needs, whether introducing new concepts or reinforcing basic skills.

Foundational Skills Focus

We believe in building strong foundational skills, which are essential for tackling more advanced math. Our program ensures every child has the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

Problem-Solving Emphasis

Along with building basics, we also focus on problem-solving. Through guided exercises and activities, children learn to apply their math knowledge to real-world problems, helping develop critical thinking skills.

Progress Monitoring: We believe in the continuous assessment of each child's progress. Regular check-ins and assessments help us tailor our tutoring sessions to address specific areas of improvement, ensuring that children are steadily advancing in their mathematical proficiency.

Enroll your child in our Critical Math Intervention program, where we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. Together, we will build the mathematical foundation necessary for a lifetime of successful problem-solving and higher-level mathematical thinking.  The program includes two sessions per week.
